This is a stunning creation, you might call it a statement piece. The combination of copper nuggets, found on a beach somewhere in the Keeweenau, and a stunning Lake Superior Agate, make this truly a piece of wearable art. The Copper is flush set on the hand textured and fused Sterling silver back piece. The Lake Superior agate has amazing colors and bands that flow in every direction. At the center of the stone, is a translucent band that begs you to look through it. Imagine what you might see when looking back in time through the layers of mineral that formed this work of art.

Agates are a gemstone with a hardness of 7; harder than Basalt or Rhyolite. Beautiful banding, varied patterns, and eye-catching colors unique to each agate are created by quartz with small amounts of different elements. Red bands are the result of the rusting of iron within the agate when exposed to oxygen. These gemstones can be found on many Lake Superior beaches throughout the states of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

Properties: Good for security, strength, to raise energy and to enhance personal courage and calming.

Cab by Bob Wright.
