Mabe’ Pearl Pendant 096

This beautiful pendant features an iridescent Baha Mabe' Pearl. The pearl is a certified AA+ Mabe', pronounced "MAH-bay". These pearls are breath- takingly lovely and this one is especially pretty. The Sterling back piece is hand textured with thousands of tiny dots. The texture gives the pendant an extra glimmer. The soft swirled edges look like the waves in the South Sea where the pearls grow.

Mabes', also called blister pearls are grown on the shells of Pteria Sterna mollusks rather than in the fleshy part. It typically takes between 2 to 4 years to grow one pearl.
