A sterling silver siren calls from this one of a kind scalloped beach glass piece that resembles an oyster shell. Rare light violet beach glass most likely dates to the 1800's when manganese was added to the glass to clarify it. As it aged, the manganese in the clear glass interacted with uv light to change it into the distinct violet that you see today.
