After years of teaching in other spaces, it was time to make a dedicated space for jewelry workshops with the most up-to-date and best equipment we could find.

Our students enjoy a large, fully equipped jewelry studio with small class sizes (10 or less) and professional instructors.

Join Our Creative Community
Are you seeking some regular workshop access for practice? We would love to have your creative energy as a part of our creative community.
Join us on the last Wednesday of the month for Beads, Banter & Beverages. An evening of community & creativity. We’ll supply the project and you supply the beverage of your choice. 5:30-8 pm. Must pre-register on our website.
If you are interested in workshop membership, we currently offer two options:
After 6 hours of class time, you are welcome to come in during a scheduled open jewelry lab where you will have access to all equipment as well as an instructor who will be available for troubleshooting and working on a project.
Lab participants are required to provide / purchase their own consumables including metal, solder, patina, saw blades, burs, finishing tools, buffing wheels, flux, butane, etc. A small fee for oxygen and propane or butane will be charged for each visit.
Rates: $25/hr or $200/10 hrs (punch pass).
Pass payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
After you have completed 20 hours of class time, you are eligible for studio use and can rent the jewelry studio for personal use.
All renters must be able to work safely and independently and may have access to tools and equipment at the benches, soldering area, buffing machine, rolling mill, and other specialty equipment. Renters are required to provide/purchase their own consumables including metal, solder, patina, saw blades, burs, finishing tools, buffing wheels, flux, butane, etc. A small fee for pickle, oxygen, and propane will be charged for each visit. Previous training and experience are required before using specific tools and equipment.
Hours: Must be scheduled during Silverwaves Jewelry’s regular business hours (Summer: M-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10:30am-3:30pm; Winter: please contact me).
Rates: $20/hr or $225/15 hrs (punch pass).
Pass payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

- Andy of Stone’s Throw made the plates from which we eat our lunches.
- Jesse of the Iron Apostle created all the Foredom Flex Shaft hangers for each bench.
